We are gearing up for another amazing event at the Long Beach Island Kite Festival, happening October 6-8th, 2023! Stay on top of schedule, details, and more by following along @lbiflykitefestival and www.lbifly.com — Here’s the newest updates you need to know:
We are expanding our venues –>
- Friday during the day, kites will fly from the 68th Street Beach (LBT) from 12-4pm
- Friday evening, the Indoor Fly will once again be held at the LBI School
- Saturday during the day, kites will fly from the 68th Street Beach (LBT) from 10am-4pm
- The Fan Favorite NIGHT FLY is being moved to 68th Street Beach (LBT) this year on SATURDAY evening
- Sunday during the day, kites will fly from 18th Street Beach (Ship Bottom) from 10am-4pm
We are still looking for volunteers to help out during various parts of the event. Interested in helping? Click HERE to Sign Up!
What Do Volunteers Do?
Great question! Most of our volunteers do one or more of the following during the festival:
- Assist With Set Up and Clean Up
- Run Activities for Kids
- Collect Donations
- Pass Out Maps
- Answer Questions
- And More!
