Beach, Birds, and Biology Summer Camp

Spend the week learning about our feathered friends that live, breed, and migrate through Long Beach Island and the surrounding areas of the “Jersey Shore.” Campers will learn from Conserve Wildlife Foundation scientists while engaging in hands-on experiences reflective of the job of a beach nesting bird biologist. On the last day, children will meet at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park for a special afternoon exploring the beach and searching for the piping plover, an endangered species.
Please note: LBIF does not provide transportation to the Barnegat Light House. Parents will be expected to drop off and pick-up from this location, on Friday July 14th.
