Ramo to the Rescue Teaches Children about The Important Work of Lifeguards

A chance meeting at Tuckers Tavern in Beach Haven, NJ and a next-day beach rescue inspired the children’s book Ramo to the Rescue from author and publisher Donna Cavanagh. Written in rhyme, the early reader book offers toddlers and young children an adventure that highlights the heroic deeds lifeguards perform each day.

Cavanagh will be donating a percentage of the book’s profits to Long Beach Township Beach Patrol and LBI Book Swap will host a book signing for Ramo to the Rescue on Saturday, July 16th at 12:30.
