March 16: Birding in the Pine Barrens
Presenter: Sue Puder, Founder & President, Southern Ocean Birding Group

Discover the birds that can be found in the Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey, a major stop on the Atlantic flyway, with author and photographer Susan Puder. The Pine Barrens cover one million acres of the outer coastal plain and is home to a great variety of plants and animals. This lectrure will explore some of the best places to find raptors, waterfowl, shorebirds, warblers and other passerines that make this area their home, breed, or migrate through in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. This program is part of the Southern Ocean Birding Group’s 10th Annual Wings Over LBI event, held this year on March 16.
