Science Saturday at LBIF: The Ecology of the New Jersey Pine Barrens

Ryan Rebozo, director of Conservation Science, Pinelands Preservation Alliance, presents the program.

New Jersey contains over 1 million acres of Pine Barren habitat, and is considered a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Ryan will discuss the things that make this system unique and how the Pine Barrens serves as headwater forests for many streams and rivers draining into Barnegat Bay.

Program is free for LBIF members, a $5 donation is requested for non-members.

Breakfast treats are provided by Little Bite of Italy.
