St. Francis Community Center LBI 18-mile Run

Race is dedicated to the 11 Israeli athletes slain by terrorists at the 1972 Munich Olympics and the thousands who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
The course is a straight, flat, point-to-point run heading North on Long Beach Blvd.
Air temperature in October on LBI is approximately 65 degrees, winds generally coming from the South.
The event is sponsored by St. Francis Community Center, Brant Beach, NJ, in cooperation with the LBI Jewish Community Center.Funded In Part By A Grant From The Board Of Chosen Freeholders.
Race begins at the south end of LBI in Holgate.
