Looking for a fresh take on dining this Summer?
Long Beach Island has an unbelievable amount of culinary options to discover new and fresh foods at the Jersey Shore. We have annual local food and beverage festivals, many different types of cuisine, and a historical port that brings in a ton of fresh seafood to LBI!
Local Festivals
Check out the Hop Sauce Festival (June 2nd), The Jazzy Scallop & Seafood Festival, Barnegat Light (June 23rd), The Official LBI Chowderfest (September 30), and the LBT Oyster Shellabration (October 6th – Same weekend as the LBI FLY International Kite Festival!) to discover different types of our local cuisine!
Viking Village
Located in Barnegat Light, this historic port has been certified by the Marine Stewardship Council for chain of custody seafood traceability and sustainable seafood harvesting. Viking Village – Barnegat Light provides fresh seafood to different restaurants and fisheries on Long Beach Island. Curious what they are catching this week?
