Be On LBI Time: A Joyous Easter Weekend Planned

Speaking of joyous, as many of you will be celebrating and observing the Easter holiday this weekend, we thought we would share with you a few of the Easter-related happenings on our glorious sandbar.

As we’re nearly one week  into the Spring season, LBI is beginning to come alive. So much is always happening – and if you want know join in and “Be On LBI Time” this Easter Weekend – below is just a sampling of what is taking place.

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 26, if you and your children are ready to get your hunt on for Easter eggs, there are plenty of options for you to join in!

First, head over to the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company at 8 a.m. for their Annual Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.

Next, you can head over to Bayview Park in Long Beach Township’s for its Easter Egg Hunt benefiting the Where Angels Play Foundation. The event begins at 10 a.m. For more details on the event, you can click here.

At Noon, for those of you late risers, Country Kettle Fudge in Beach Haven’s Bay Village is also hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. You may view those event details by clicking here.

On Easter Sunday, March 27, LBI and its beautiful beaches will play backdrop to a host of Sunrise Church Services for you and your family to participate in.

St. Francis of Assisi will hold its annual sunrise service on the Centre Street beach in Beach Haven at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Please click here for full service details.

Additionally, Terrace United Methodist Church in Beach Haven Terrace will also host its sunrise service on the beach at 103rd Street at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. Please click here for full-service details.

Lastly, Grace Calvary Church will host its Easter Sunrise service at 6:45 a.m. on the 20th Street beach in Ship Bottom. Please click here for full service details.

There are so many different ways to celebrate the Easter weekend here on Long Beach Island.
