You know it’s officially the holiday season when Santa Claus comes to town, and this week, the jolly, ole’ bearded fellow will be making his annual appearance in Barnegat Light to kick off the most wonderful time of the year!
The day after Thanksgiving, on Friday, November 27, Santa will be arriving at the north end of Long Beach Island via boat – how else would he kick off the holidays on LBI?
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on the 27th, Santa is scheduled to make landfall at the 10th Street Boat Ramp in Barnegat Light. He will then proceed to the Borough Hall via fire truck for the lighting of the “Borough Christmas Tree” and carols by the community. Santa will then be available for visits with children and have refreshments at the First Aid Squad building.
We invite you, your family and friends at join us this Friday to get in the holiday spirit.
Santa hopes to see you all in Barnegat Light!
