Erin Go’LBI – Art & Science Collides and Other Sandbar Happenings

lbi happengsHey there all of you fantastic LBI lovers! As we’re continuing to glide ever closer to Spring (in just over a week, in fact), there is more and more to do here on our beautiful sandbar!

This week, in additional to the fabulous weather slated for the beginning of the weekend, there are a pair of cool events – in addition to the bevy of shops, restaurants and nightlife we encourage you to patronize- happening right here on LBI!

First, on Saturday the 12th at the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences, you have the opportunity to check out this week’s Science Saturday – where Science and Art Collides and Understanding Ceramics.

You can check the full event details by clicking here.

If science and art doesn’t pique your fancy, you can head over to the Ocean County Library, Surf City branch, and get ready for some Irish music – and, perhaps dance – as you enjoy theĀ songs of Gerry Murray, a musician straight from Co. Cavan, Ireland.

For full event details, you may click here.

As you can see, there’s no need to go over the bridge for anything you might need – from music to science – heck, even a cup of tea! So much is going on here, it’s plain to see.

So get to LBI this weekend!

We’ll see you soon!
