Plein Air Exhibition: Island Life 2018

Selected artists who participated in the summer “Paint Out” will exhibit their unique interpretations that capture the beauty of the LBI coastal environment. This exhibition will feature selected artist’s Plein Air works and studio paintings developed from their Plein Air studies. Approximately 130 paintings will be on display and all work will be for sale September through October. Prizes will be awarded by the Juror at the opening reception on September 23 for both Classical “Plein Air” and “Plein Air Plus” paintings. The Juror is Valerie Craig, artist and 2017 Artists Choice Award winner during Ireland’s Art in the Open. There will be an accompanying Plein Air Worshop with visiting artist Joseph Sweeney.
