Which Beaches on LBI are Open?
We have gotten many inquiries regarding beach openings, short-term rental bans, and beach badges for the 2020 season. Please see the following information for an overview of each town’s status as of June 1st, 2020. Regularly scheduled lifeguards are not yet on duty as of this posting. If you have any questions about a specific town’s plans, rules, or beach patrol, please visit their website for the most updated information.
Barnegat Light
Beaches: Open to the public in Barnegat Light.

Rentals: No Current Ban on Short-Term Rentals in Barnegat Light.
Pets on Beach: Pets are not allowed on the beach until the fall in Barnegat Light (April 15th is the town’s seasonal cut-off date for this).

Beach Haven
Beaches: Open to the public in Beach Haven.

As an organization, we do not facilitate individual rentals. Please refer to your existing rental agreement and contact the rental agency you booked with for specifications on refunds or cancellations. As a third party, we cannot help you with rental disputes.
