Wow! July Flew By!

This is our last Events Blog for July 2020. The next Events Blog will cover early August Events!

Wednesday, July 22nd

Beach Haven: Support local Beach Haven businesses while shopping from the sidewalks. “Stores will be allowed to have these sales from 10am-6pm so come out, shop, and support our Beach Haven community.” For more information contact the Borough of Beach Haven 609-492-0111. This event runs until Friday.

Beach Haven: Visit Veterans Memorial Park for Beach Haven Concerts “On the Green.” Live music starts at 7pm (McLean Ave Band). “Please note that we will be strictly following the guidance of the CDC, State, and local Government regarding Covid19. We would expect that our guests will wear a mask/face covering at check-in, and will practice social distancing within the concert area.” This event is hosted by the Beach Haven Community Arts Program.

Thursday, July 23rd

Barnegat Light: Plan to visit the 25th street beach in Barnegat Light at 2:00pm for a sand sculpting contest. Children, adults, and groups are welcome. For more information call Borough Hall 609-494-9196.

Friday, July 24th

Brant Beach (LBT): Fire Pit Friday featuring free live music performed by “B Street Band.” This event occurs every Friday on 68th Street beach from 7-9pm . “Bring your blankets, beach chairs, coolers, and family to enjoy an evening of music on the beach! Social Distancing applies to groups not with each other. Please be respectful. Masks are required on the 68th St walkway.” Please contact Long Beach Township at 609-361-1000 for more info on this event series.

Sunday, July 26th

Brant Beach (LBT): *THE SURF CONTEST WAS POSTPONED TO AUGUST 2ND* The Coquina Jam all-female surf contest, starts at 8am on July 26th on 68th Street in Long Beach Township. Enjoy a Sunday Afternoon Concert featuring “Sneak Attack” at 11am, “The Danksters” at 1pm, and “Jason Booth and The Pickles” at 3pm. “Social Distancing applies to groups not with each other. Please be respectful. Monday, July 27th

Barnegat Light: Enjoy “Impulsives” free live music at the Borough Of Barnegat Light Monday night from 7pm- 9pm. For More Information Call Barnegat Light Borough Hall 609-494-9196.

Tuesday, July 28th

Ship Bottom: Join ALO to find out what lives in our very own Barnegat Bay. “This free and fun event will highlight the amazing creatures that call our local waters home. All critters are handled with care and released after we take some time to view and talk about each species. Registration required. Spots are limited to promote a safe learning environment for our volunteers and you.
